Withdrawal of our paid version of the game from itch.io
Dear customers!
It seems that this platform is not happy to host content related to NSFW games, there are dozens of developers being banned with official explanations like this right now: https://itch.io/post/7697194
Unfortunately, it doesn’t explain too much and there are rumors that some of these developers lost access not only to itch.io but to their payment processors' accounts, too (Paypal/Stripe/Payoneer). It means that selling an NSFW game here endangers my account on Itch and my campaign on Patreon at the same time.
I can’t afford this kind of risk, especially when I have the second game being prepared for public demo release and a new update to this game being prepared, too.
I disabled sales of the paid version of the game here and backed up the data of people who purchased the game. I’m in talks with two game publishers on Steam right now about trying to publish the game there. If I manage to get published on Steam, I will start handing out the activation keys to people who bought the game on Itch before. Your digital ownership of the game copy is my responsibility.
I established a folder on MEGA with the latest paid version of this game for existing customers, if you need access to it urgently, I can send an invitation for it. You can reach me on:

- Our Patreon campaign remains active, losing sales from itch is a big hit for me - more than half of my income was coming from Itch.
Please, provide an email used for the game purchase on Itch as verification of your purchase when you will write to me about getting your access because this is the only way how I can verify that you purchased the game on Itch.
As for the account of this game on Itch, it will stay for now and I will see what to do with it later when all payouts will be done by Itch to me. Maybe it will be closed, or maybe it will remain to host a public demo, I don’t know.
We, developers, are not to blame for this issue, the responsibility lies solely on the itch platform and payment processors. I will continue to develop the game anyway.

It turns out that itch.io was trying to ban specific people who had been scamming the platform by doing things like making people pay for updates by making a new page each time.
It just so happened that the people who were doing this were adult game makers, but they confirmed that they'd have done it against some sfw game makers too had their policy been updated earlier.
They just failed to communicate this because they didn't want to alert fraudsters, but it came at the cost of scaring the adult games community.

Yeah instantly though of them. Their justification, I assume, is that they're the same as the patreon releases but that's just not how itch.io is intended to work, I think.
Except my understanding is that they delete the previous page an then update the next month as the "new" page.
if you search up "pure onyx" it shows every patreon update is $5 except for the may one which is -35% discount

so the pages arent being deleted and reuploaded they're just doing patreon release format on itch.io not updating the same page but making numerous

This is a temporary solution until we get to Steam which has its own distribution system with activation keys. The next update will be pushed to that folder, too.

Wow....this is so unfair, stupid itch, there are so many other games, why are they doing that, i hope you are alright though and that you will continue making the game great, hope the steam approves!

I hope that Steam will become our primary distribution platform instead of Itch. Unfortunately, their approval process is slow, I talked with one of the publishers and he said that it will take at least one month to get us there if the review goes okay. If you bought the game on itch, you can contact me via one of the methods mentioned above and provide your email address used for the purchase of the game. I paid yesterday and now this is happening thats unfortunate so how will this affect those who only play it for andriod and all?
Hi! Please, check your email, I've sent you an invite to MEGA folder with the latest paid version of the game. The fix for Android will be uploaded there later. The game will continue to support Android as long as it's possible, but its builds will be distributed to users without itch.
The people who paid for the android version like me would the fixed version be on mega when its released ?
